urnigera
A rapid growther with a nice shiny wax layer on the young branches. As soon as they get a little bigger it will disappear but because it grows fast, this layer of washing is always visible on different parts of the tree. In the past, the aborigines swept into this laundry layer to keep insects at bay. The leaves of the young tree are small and silvery grey but will become elongated as soon as the tree matures. It is a medium fast growth and good pruning so suitable for the smaller garden.
